We found headshots of child actors sold on eBay as far back as 2004, with all the complications they create for your child’s protection and safety. Back then, our forum aided Bizparentz in getting the word out and cutting back on the practice of selling photos without permission. This publicity release calling for an end to the practice is dated 2007. We talked about it on our board as well. Unfortunately, it’s still going on. Read Bizparentz’s guidelines on what to do when your child’s copyrighted image is stolen.
Also, read up on eBay’s VERO policy, where copyright violations can be reported and corrected.
