Professional Actors Resource Forum or PARF was created in 2002 by a group of parents of actors, as a community where parents whose children are pursuing professional acting opportunities can gather to offer help, information, resources and support about the acting business in Los Angeles, New York City and Canada. We quickly grew to cover all markets. We offer a message board to share information about jobs and auditions, agents and managers, classes, headshots and other acting-related resources, child-actor safety, and education, as well as helping parents avoid scams and needless expenses when pursuing professional acting opportunities for their children. Our underlying structure is a parenting board that guides parents in the unique challenges of parenting child actors.
Everyone who wants to be a members of our community is welcome, as long as they agree to follow our Rules and Guidelines. We don’t allow guest access, so anyone wanting to read the board must sign up to read posts and to participate. It’s easy and free! Please drop in and introduce yourself.
