Bad Workshops vs Good Classes

In a crowded acting market, your child needs to stand out.  How do you make sure your child is the one who is noticed?  We have been talking about workshops, pros and cons. Parents who subscribe to the workshop model believe it gives their children an edge over the competition.  But doesn’t it make more sense for a long term career to train your child in the exact skills they will need to handle challenging roles rather than trying to impress a CD?

How do you evaluate a good class? How do you evaluate a workshop, to separate the good from the not so good?  Here is a detailed analysis.
