When a project is cancelled

We assume once an actor gets through the auditions, books and films a job, it will air on TV or open in theaters, but that doesn’t always happen.  Shows we expect to see on television may be cancelled before they are even scheduled to air.  Movies might not find distribution or a studio could prevent a movie from being shown.  That happened to a recent project.
