Can your child’s agent negotiate a contract?

Your child is in the mix for a series regular role and you are handed a contract. You are excited, but you aren’t sure about the details. Is the pay scale adequate?  Would they go higher? Can you get your choice of studio teacher?  Is there a built in second season raise?  Can your agent negotiate the details you want? More important, will your child’s agent make a stand or are you told to sign quickly or risk losing the job? The rushed contract is common during pilot season. If your agent won’t speak up, do you have an attorney waiting in the wings?

We always tell members you won’t know how good your agent really is until you have a contract in hand.  Join our discussion
