We all know children who struggle with weight, either too much or too little. There are also changes that many children go through before a big growth spurt, especially before puberty. Changes in eating habits can affect weight, but so can naturally occurring body changes as children’s bodies prepare them to become teenagers. Age-related weight changes are accompanied by growth spurts, which can be dramatic. A small child can suddenly bypass peers in both height and weight. Actors who could play younger roles, may now find themselves looking more like teens than children or young adults rather than teens. Not only have their bodies changed, so has their ability to work.
